about the arrival of Lisa Marie

Quietly content, perfect and small

Blue eyes, though not much hair at all.

Another little girl to enjoy and keep

and sure to have me running off my feet

Handfuls of happiness to grow with and love

Adorable cherubs, blessings from above

knowing our guardian angel is there - 

brother Stephen, to respond to their prayer.

Danielle Jayne

As I look over the cot to peep

at my baby princess sound asleep

So beautiful and peaceful she is laying there,

pretty, angelic face and light, soft hair.

I reflect...

as I close my eyes and to Stephen I pray:

"please guard your little sister, night and day"

There I vision him, his face so clear

I know he is listening, I sense he is near

"you're our guardian angel," to him I say

"protect Danielle and keep evil at bay"

"for as long as she has her big brother near,

there is nothing in the world for her to fear."

Then I open my eyes to my tiny, sweet miss

and I lean over quietly to give her a kiss.
